then they will have an emotional break down because they can’t continue to live on when there is people in the world who wear band shirts just for the sake of wearing them. OH THE HUMANITY.

Or because OH NO THEY WILL BECOME MAINSTREAM IF H&M SELLS PRINTED SHIRTS FROM THEIR FAVORITE BAND.
Though I myself probably wouldn’t wear anything without at least knowing the meaning behind it what is the big deal about it anyway? Especially if a shirt is nicely designed and all. Who cares?
Besides there’s also the fact that those graphics used were often made by artists who hadn’t much of a relationship with the musicians and there it’s called ‘cover ART’ nontheless. Some things are just pretty to look at so why not wear it, too?
