I could probably sew something like it! But the fabric wouldn’t be the exact same :P Perhaps if you could, maybe upload some photos of it? It’s my absolute favorite, and i’d just like to see some close ups. It’s fine if you can’t of course. ^^It shouldn’t be too hard, I guess but I really love all the small details that AP dresses have and especially the chiffon of Sugar Hearts is something I like a lot!
I’ll certainly make some close-ups of the dress, but I also have the skirt version in the same colour and posted some close-ups of that a while ago if you’re interested in seing some fabric detail ♥
http://www.pastelraindrops.com/2012/03/all-good-things-come-from-above.htmlOh thank you sooo much! My mother happens to be a seamstress (I am learning too). She wanted to know if I could find a pic of the tag inside the dress where it says what kind of fabric it is, but you said chiffon. That’s definitely my favorite part about the dress. Maybe I could find chiffon in that color and sew a jumperskirt myself. Thanks for all your help.
Then you’re very lucky, too if you can learn sewing from an actual seamstress! It’s a great think to know all the right tricks and ways of it and can be great fun! ♥
Well, it’s made polyester but very typical chiffon with it’s slightly rough structure and transparency. And I really, really love such fabrics a lot, that’s why I’m also a big lover of these kind of 60s nightdresses and peignoirs. They are simply adorable fabric wise and also often come in very lovely shapes and cuts. The only thing I often don’t like is the usage of raschel lace which tends to look cheap and is often very discoloured from all the years.
I love it too. Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll come across the jsk itself. Thank you again.
